InfoMedics, Inc. respects the privacy of the individuals from whom we collect Personal Information, regardless of the source. That includes the Personal Information collected from visitors to the InfoMedics.com website. This Privacy Statement discusses the gathering, use, and dissemination practices of InfoMedics with regard to such Personal Information.

What is Personal Information?

Personal Information that InfoMedics Collects
InfoMedics is committed to the principle that we will not collect more Personal Information than is necessary for any particular task. We collect Personal Information from you when you fill out our "contact us" form or request a document or form. We use the information to respond to your request for information or to send you the form(s) and/or document(s) you requested. We may use your Personal Information to follow up with you to see if you received what you needed. We also collect your email address if you wish to sign up for our monthly bulletin, and we transfer it to our partner, Constant Contact, an email service provider, in order to allow the fulfillment of your monthly bulletin request. Constant Contact may collect more information from you in order to send the bulletin and InfoMedics has access to any information collected.
Individual Consent
In cases where InfoMedics is seeking to collect Personal Information, InfoMedics will first obtain the individual's authorization to collect, use and disclose such information. Collecting Personal Information from Individuals Under 16 Years of Age
We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from anyone under the age of 16 on this web site.
IP Addresses
An IP address is a number automatically assigned to your computer whenever you access the Internet. All computer identification on the Internet is conducted with IP addresses, which allow computers and servers to recognize and communicate with each other. InfoMedics collects IP addresses in order to conduct system administration, report aggregate information to sponsors and advertisers, and to conduct site analysis. If a participant requests pages from an InfoMedics website, the InfoMedics servers enter the participant's IP address into a log. To maintain participant anonymity, InfoMedics does not associate IP addresses with records containing Personal Information. We employ a software technology called clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons/Web Bugs), that help us better manage content on our site by informing us what content is effective. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of web users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user's computer hard drive, clear gifs are embedded invisibly on Web pages and are about the size of a period at the end of this sentence. We do not tie the information gathered by clear gifs to our web users' personally identifiable information.
