Account Director

The Account Director manages client relations with existing clients and is responsible for client satisfaction and retention, program budget oversight, margin achievement, contract maximization, backlog conversion, up-billing, and contract renewals. The Account Director will also oversee all aspects of client related program development, installation and management including close management of all aspects of client relations with existing clients. Generating new revenue opportunities with existing clients through additional sales, new product introductions, product enhancements, and increased program enrollment is also a primary focus of the position.

To be seriously considered, a candidate must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience, with 7-10 years of direct progressively responsible experience in account management and client relations in a professional services organization. Extensive experience in a CRO or pharmaceutical brand management environment is required. Demonstrated ability to generate revenue through client backlog conversion, up-billing, contract renewals and repeat business is essential. Experience in operationalizing and managing technology based projects, including product life cycle requirements, design, implementation, testing and deployment is required. Experience and/or knowledge of the pharmaceutical regulatory environment is also necessary.
