Patient Education and Retention, Solutions to Adherence Challenges among Topics Addressed by InfoMedics Executives at Two Upcoming Events
Provider of Patient Feedback Programs for Pharmaceutical Brands Achieved Major Program Milestones, Client Satisfaction and Market Impact
WOBURN, MA -- InfoMedics, Inc., the patient feedback company, today announced the participation of two of its top executives, as well as one of its customers, in two upcoming pharmaceutical industry conferences. Paul LeVine, vice president of analytic services, will co-present "The Patient Journey: Personalized Communications Leading to Brand Loyalty" as part of a pre-conference workshop discussion panel with Tom McDonnell, product director for Vyvanse marketing, at the DTC National Conference, April 16-18 in Washington, D.C. Jeanne Zucker, senior vice president, strategic business development, will present "Focusing on the Patient: Using Patient Feedback Programs to Improve Adherence" at the 3rd Annual Integrated Relationship Marketing and Sales For Pharma event, May 5-7 in Philadelphia, PA.
"While InfoMedics has always assisted our customers in meeting the challenges of patient adherence and retention, 2008 brings a particularly strong focus on this area," said Gene Guselli, president and CEO of InfoMedics, Inc. "We are delighted to contribute to the industry discussion around these key issues, both via Paul and Jeanne's presentations and through the demonstration of new, upcoming products to be previewed at each event's InfoMedics exhibit."
DTC National Conference
Paul LeVine of InfoMedics and Tom McDonnell of Shire will present on Wednesday, April 16, from 8:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., within a pre-conference workshop titled "Innovations In Direct-To-Patient - Untapped Opportunities In Patient Education, Retention And Compliance." LeVine and McDonnell will specifically address a credible patient-centric approach to reaching physicians, with real-world insights stemming from a patient/parent feedback program recently implemented as part of an ADHD drug campaign. This program supplements in-office physician-patient communications at different points in each stage of the patient's (and their family's) "journey," from treatment education to early experience to long-term monitoring.

3rd Annual Integrated Relationship Marketing and Sales For Pharma Event
Jeanne Zucker of InfoMedics will present "Focusing on the Patient: Using Patient Feedback Programs to Improve Adherence" on Wednesday, May 7, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. Zucker will present two case studies detailing how patient feedback programs helped improve patient-physician communication and in one case, dramatically improved adherence rates for patients taking a cholesterol-lowering medication with an alarming side effect. Highlights will also include how patient communities can be leveraged to support improved patient-physician communication and treatment adherence. Attendees will come away from this presentation with a better understanding of how to utilize patient feedback to:
- Help patients anticipate and manage known side effects
- Heighten product persistency by creating an 'unspoken contract' between patient & physician
- Increase treatment plan adherence
