Gene Guselli, Co-Founder, President & CEO
Gene Guselli has been a leading entrepreneur in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries for over 30 years. As co-founder of InfoMedics, Gene has pioneered the use of interactive patient-physician communication platforms to the pharmaceutical industry worldwide.
Prior to co-founding InfoMedics, Gene was the operating founder, president, and CEO of Private Healthcare Systems, Inc. (PHCS), which became the leading PPO/EPO in the nation during his tenure. Earlier in his career, he served as a senior consultant to the Health Data Institute, as director of professional services at Boston Medical Center, and as assistant deputy director for professional affiliations at the New York City Health & Hospitals Corporation.
Gene has served on numerous boards in the private and non-profit sector including the AAPPO and Matria Healthcare, Inc. As a recognized industry expert, he frequently contributes to a variety of published articles and papers in the pharmaceutical industry.
Gene holds a BS and an MBA from Northeastern University.
Robert Friedman, MD, Co-Founder, Senior Scientist
Dr. Robert Friedman is co-founder and a longstanding board member of InfoMedics. He is currently Professor of Medicine and Public Health, and Chief of the Medical Information Systems Unit in the Section of General Internal Medicine at Boston University (BU) and Boston Medical Center.
Dr. Friedman has devoted more than two decades to studying how to use totally automated systems to communicate with patients and physicians and improve their intercommunication. He is one of the first developers of systems that assist researchers in conducting clinical trials. His work advanced the use of computer-based telecommunications systems to monitor patients with chronic disease, to improve patient compliance to their medication regimes, and to improve patients’ self-care behavior.
Dr. Friedman has been the recipient of numerous research grants from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and has over 80 publications in scientific literature.
Robert Bedford, Senior Vice President, Sales & Client Relations
Rob Bedford leads InfoMedics’ corporate sales strategies and new business development planning. Rob brings more than 25 years of senior-level, sales and marketing experience in the pharmaceutical and medical education industries.
Prior to joining InfoMedics, Rob served as senior VP of sales and marketing at Lathian Systems, and as VP and business unit director at Cardinal Health, Healthcare Marketing Services division. He has also held various positions with increasing levels of responsibility at leading pharmaceutical companies, Knoll Pharmaceutical Company and SmithKlineBeecham.
Rob holds a BA from the University of South Carolina and an MBA in Pharmaceutical Marketing from St. Joseph's University.
Anton den Boggende, CPA, Chief Financial Officer
Anton den Boggende oversees all of InfoMedics’ human resources, legal, and finance activities. Anton has more than 20 years of executive-level finance and operations experience in the healthcare and high tech industries.
Prior to joining InfoMedics, Anton served as the corporate controller at Lionbridge Technologies, where he assisted in their IPO. He has also held various senior-level finance positions at Sybase and at Deloitte & Touche, where he served in various audit capacities both domestically and in the Netherlands.
Anton is a certified public accountant (CPA) and foreign specialist (equivalent to Dutch Registered Accountant), and holds a BS from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell.
Lynne Konior, Director of Marketing & Communications
Lynne Konior oversees all of InfoMedics’ strategic marketing, marketing communications, and lead generation business development. Lynne brings over 25 years of experience as both an entrepreneur and as a marketing and communications executive.
Before joining InfoMedics, Lynne was a founding partner and president of the Bartlett Group, where she provided marketing consulting services for a diverse client base. She started her entrepreneurial career as co-founder and CEO of King Konior, Inc., a highly ranked strategic marketing communications firm in Boston that earned regional and national recognition. Lynne has also served as the director of communications for WHDH-TV (CBS affiliate) in Boston, and as VP of Arnold Public Relations.
Lynne holds a BS from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, an MS in Fine Arts from Central Connecticut State University, and is a Certified Keirsey Temperament Consultant.
Paul LeVine, Vice President, Analytic Services
Paul LeVine directs all InfoMedics’ analytical services, which provides programs with comprehensive outcomes reporting, financial assessments, physician targeting, and patient segmentation. Paul has over 20 years experience in a variety of healthcare settings, including the pharmaceutical, managed care, and government arenas.
Having spent much of his career focused on the analysis of data and the ability to leverage information to inform business decisions, Paul is an experienced pharmaceutical market researcher and an accomplished writer. He has authored numerous articles and abstracts for scientific, business, pharmaceutical, and healthcare industry trade publications.
Paul holds a BS from Oberlin College and an MS in Health Policy and Management from Harvard University.
Jeff Lord, Vice President & Chief Technology Officer
Jeff Lord oversees all of InfoMedics’ technology operations, including corporate IT, R&D, the InfoMedics technology platform and client program development. Jeff’s responsibilities include the development and infrastructure for security, call center, database, client/vendor integration, telephony, Web, and mobile.
Prior to his current role, Jeff served as senior director of engineering for InfoMedics, where he led the software development team on all client projects. Before that, he was a senior application developer, and helped pioneer InfoMedics’ Web capabilities.
Before joining InfoMedics, Jeff held senior-level development roles at both Inforonics and Cambridge Technology Partners. Earlier in his career, he was an independent software development consultant.
Jeff holds a BS in Small Business Management from the University of Vermont.
J. Louis MacDonald, Chief Operating Officer & Chief Privacy Officer
Lou MacDonald oversees all aspects of InfoMedics’ operations, including client relations, program delivery, and technical operations. Prior to his current role, Lou served as the CFO at InfoMedics. He has over 20 years of executive experience in high tech and healthcare financial and general management.
Before joining InfoMedics, Lou held various senior-level positions in finance and operations with Sybase, Dendrite International, Mentor Graphics Corporation, and SQL Solutions. His extensive background includes expertise in capital formation, mergers and acquisitions, and financial and operational management.
Lou is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) and has supported clients in the areas of FDA and regulatory matters, as well as privacy protection. He holds a BS from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and an MBA from Suffolk University.
Stanley Wulf, MD, Vice President, Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Stanley Wulf heads InfoMedics’ medical team, which oversees program content development and provides clinical direction in product development, implementation, and operations. He is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist.
Before joining InfoMedics, Dr. Wulf served as the medical director at both Professional Risk Management and at Private Healthcare Systems, Inc. (PHCS). After establishing his private medical practice, he also served as Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Southern California.
Dr. Wulf received his medical degree from the University of Cape Town and completed his residency at the Los Angeles County/USC Medical Center.
